Portraiture is one of the most interesting and involved styles of painting.

Whether I’m going for contemporary realism or abstract colors and feel — it’s important to crack the code that makes a person’s face unique and identifiable.

This is tricky because we don’t see ourselves in the same way that others see us. My favorite portraits satisfy both audiences.

Pets

I guess serious artists think that pets are trite, but it’s one of my favorite things to do. I really love to bring joy to your home with a lasting portrait of your treasured creature.

Experimental Landscapes

I don’t really like doing typical western landscapes or that sort of stuff, but I do like to experiment with ways to create an impression of a moment in time from the world as it is now.
